Using this site
You may use this site to learn about our services, browse our menus and gallery, read our writing, and get in touch. You agree not to:
- Submit false information, or submit an inquiry or application on someone else's behalf without their permission.
- Use automated means to scrape, harvest or copy the site's content or images.
- Attempt to gain access to any part of the site, server or database you are not authorised to access — including the client portal.
- Interfere with the site's operation, or use it to send spam or malicious code.
- Use our name, logo, photography or menu copy as though it were your own.
Quotes, proposals and your actual contract
Nothing on this website is a binding offer. Menus, service formats, capacities, guest counts and any prices or price ranges shown here are illustrative and subject to change and availability. Submitting an inquiry does not book a date and does not create a contract.
Catering services are governed by a separate written agreement — a proposal, quote or event contract signed by both you and Pinx. That agreement covers your menu, headcount, staffing, timing, deposit, payment schedule, cancellation and change terms, and it controls if anything in it conflicts with these website terms.
Availability is confirmed only in writing by a member of our team. A date is held only once the agreement is signed and any required deposit is received.
Food allergies and dietary requirements
This matters more than anything else on this page, so please read it.
We take allergies and dietary requirements seriously and will do our best to accommodate them, but our kitchen is not an allergen-free facility. We handle nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, shellfish, sesame and other allergens, and we cannot guarantee that any dish is entirely free of any allergen or of cross-contact.
If you or any of your guests has a food allergy, intolerance or medical dietary requirement, tell us in writing before your event and confirm it with your event contact — not through this website alone. Anything described on this site as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free or similar describes the recipe's intent and its ingredients, not a certified allergen-free preparation.
Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited under California law.
What you send us
If you send us an inquiry, a message, a job application, a resume, a review or any other material, you keep whatever rights you have in it, and you give us permission to use it for the purpose you sent it for — responding to you, considering your application, or publishing a review you gave us for publication. Please do not send us anything confidential that you do not want us to have.
You confirm that anything you send us is yours to send and does not infringe anyone else's rights.

Our content
The text, photography, menus, design, code and branding on this site belong to Pinx Catering or to the photographers and clients who licensed them to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share pages, and print a copy for your own planning. You may not republish, resell, or use our event photography or menu copy commercially, or use it to train a machine-learning model, without our written permission.
Client names and logos appear on this site with permission and remain the property of those companies. Their presence is not an endorsement by them of anything beyond the work we did for them.
Third-party links
We link to venues, clients, partners and our own social profiles. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their terms, or their privacy practices.
Availability of the site
We aim to keep the site up and correct, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every page is current, or that any file is free of harmful components. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Pinx Catering and its owners, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of this website — even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability arising out of your use of this website will not exceed one hundred US dollars (`$100`).
This clause limits liability arising out of the website. Liability arising out of catering services we actually provide is governed by your signed event agreement.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Pinx Catering against any claim, loss or expense arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of this website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you and we each consent to those courts' jurisdiction. This does not affect any dispute-resolution provision in a signed event agreement, which controls for that agreement.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page tells you when we last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
